GIFAnimations.com Image Linking and Usage Policy

Image Usage
All images contained within the GIFAnimations collection are in the public domain. We do not require you to obtain our permission to use any of these images. Images may be used in any media (web site, email, powerpoint, print, etc.) Our images can be used by any entity (i.e., commercial, non-profit, educational, governmental, religious, etc.)

We do appreciate any credit that you may give to GIFAnimations.com on your web page, but this is not required for image use.

Direct Image Linking
Unlike most other free sites, we allow you to link directly to the image. The only stipulation is that the image must be in a publicly accessible area, and not behind a login page. This allows you to use our images when you don't have access to a web server. To have one of our images displayed in your web page, copy and paste the snippet of HTML (that appears underneath the image), into your page.

For example, the first image in the Aliens category, displays this link:

<a href="http://www.ProfessionalAnimations.com"><img src="http://www.ProfessionalAnimations.com/GAImage/Animations/Aliens/Alien-blue.gif" width="40" height="40" border="0" alt="Animations - alien-blue"/></a>

Insert this animation in your web page:

<html>
  <body>
     <a href="http://www.ProfessionalAnimations.com"><img src="http://www.ProfessionalAnimations.com/GAImage/Animations/Aliens/Alien-blue.gif" width="40" height="40" border="0" alt="Animations - alien-blue"/></a>
  </body>
</html>

Even though the above image link contains a hyperlink to www.ProfessionalAnimations.com, this hyperlink is not required for direct linking. ProfessionalAnimations.com pays for the Internet bandwidth required to deliver your images. The hyperlink helps to promote this site and therefore offsets some of this cost.

Image Saving
We still allow you to save the image onto your own system, if you wish. To save the image onto your own system, you can use either of these methods:
  1. Point the mouse over the animation. Right click the mouse button and select "Save Picture As..."
  2. Click on the "Download Animation onto Your System" link, that appears underneath the image.
